In the morning, James ate an apple which his mother had just bought from the market. He then complained that the apple was neither sweet nor juicy. So his mother decided to put the remaining apples into the refrigerator.

The apple will neither be sweet or juicy. If assuming the apples are not ripe, the lower temperature in the refrigerator will slow doen the ripening process which leads to sweeter, juicier fruits.
ReplyDeleteit should be sweeter. The refridgerator will cause the apple toloss more water, thus resulting in more water being crystallised, making the apple sweeter.(This is just a theory.try the experiment out and you will know
ReplyDeletecorrection on what i posted on 10 04.it is the suger that crystallises, not water
ReplyDeleteSCIENCE?
ReplyDeletenothing will happen. The apple shld all be not riped so when it is put in the fridge, the cold temperature will lengthen the time of ripening
