Both taps were turned on at the same time and they took 8 minutes to fill up the tank completely. (a) What was the height of the tank? 4 + 10 = 14 litres/min
14 x 8 = 112 litres
112 x 1000 / (64 x 25) = 70 cm
a) It was 70 cm.
112/4 = 28
28 - 8 = 20 min
b) It was 20 min longer.
